The complement of mundane skills, extraordinary skills are not immediately available to everyone, but must rather be acquired through various means. They range from magical spells to highly specific know-how.

Whenever an extraordinary skills is acquired it starts at skill level 1 (untrained) and can be improved as any other skill.
